For the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, we at Kohlmaier delved deep into our treasure trove of wonderful fabrics. The result is impressive: a contemporary yet dignified ambience that provides the perfect backdrop for the masterpieces on display.

The 12-meter-high rooms of the picture gallery were covered with new wall fabrics.

Around 450^m² of high-tech fabrics were manufactured and processed in each hall. The fabrics were applied in the traditional manner, i.e., stretched over a wooden frame construction.

An art collection that is one of the largest and most significant of its kind in the world hangs in front of our fabrics.
