House L

In the heart of Vienna, a multi-layered residential and work building was constructed in a spacious courtyard, with rooms that can be flexibly adapted to the needs of the residents. For House L, we were entrusted with the selection, manufacture, and installation of the curtains. In close consultation with the archiguards team and the clients, we selected the appropriate curtain fabric for each room, sewed the curtains in our workshop, and installed them on site—tailored to the use, light, and spatial proportions.

The curtains in the spacious rooms, which are up to six meters high, pose a particular challenge and are also a defining element of the project. They structure the space, create atmosphere, and contribute significantly to the feeling of comfort. The textile elements thus become an integral part of the overall architectural concept.
