Batiki – An island sofa

Named after a distant South Sea island, the Batiki island sofa is a combination of culture and nature – a micro-vacation.

Conceived as a landscape setting in architectural design, it interprets the idea of an island as a piece of furniture. The solid wood construction forms the basis, complemented by comfortable cold foam upholstery. Bamboo and brass legs emphasize its natural character, while the cotton velvet cover with piping gives the sofa a precise, textile contour. With dimensions of 180 × 120 × 90 cm, Batiki functions as a sofa, a one-and-a-half-seater, or – on its own – as a chaise longue.
