Architecture Biennale 2025 Venice

Implementation:
Location:

In the Austrian Pavilion at the 2025 Architecture Biennale in Venice, the Agency For Better Living addresses the current housing issue against the backdrop of a housing crisis that is being felt across Europe and around the world. The pavilion sees itself as a place for discussion, exchange, and reflection on contemporary forms of living.

For this project, we created a piece of furniture that serves as the central element of the spatial concept. The furniture invites visitors to linger, sit, and discuss, thus supporting the pavilion's thematic focus. In terms of materiality, proportion, and execution, the object was precisely tailored to the space and its use and crafted by hand—as a functional element within an overall curatorial concept.
